Here you will find equipment reviews of the items that I took on, or acquired during, the trip. You may also be interested in the post-trip or pre-trip manifest pages. The manifest pages might be useful to you if you are planning a similar motorcycle adventure.

The equipment rating system that I shall use will be as follows:

Broken Arrow	The item was a total failure due to poor design and (likely) caused other systems to malfunction, perhaps destructively.
Dud	The item was a failure but did not cause any collateral damage to other systems.
Squib	The item was a partial failure in that it did not perform its task due to design limitations.
A-Bomb	The item worked as advertised in the capacity in which it was employed with no significant side effects.
H-Bomb	The item worked beyond its design capacity in the task for which it was used, or had other beneficial side effects not a part of its original use or advertised specifications.
"Crust Buster"	The item performed so far beyond its advertised design and task category that it actually performed in tasks not originally assigned to it so well as to replace and render redundant another piece of equipment or, in an extreme case, whole system.
Not Used	The item was brought but not used on the trip. Hence its performance is still assumed nominal. No real review.
